The All-Seeing Goddess. In Snorri's list of goddesses, Vǫr is described as wise and inquiring: "She is wise and enquiring, so that nothing can be concealed from her. " Her name is given as the source of the adjective vǫrr, "careful, aware. — that is not just a story. It is a business model, four thousand years early.
