How Þrúðr was rebuilt, mark by mark
Bench notes, Þrúðr: what we found, what we rejected, and what we finally set down. Kept in the open, because a restoration you cannot audit is just a spelling with confidence.
What We Found
The attestation runs through the tradition's own sources: ᚦᚱᚢᚦᚱ. Meaning: "Strength, power".
The figure behind the name: Þrúðr's mythology is sparse but charged: every mention of her name is a mention of power.
What the Name Carried In
Daughter of Thor and Sif. In the list of Óðinn's hidden names and the families of the gods, Grímnismál names Þrúðr as a daughter of Þórr. With her mother Sif — whose golden hair was famously shorn and replaced by dwarven gold — Þrúðr inherits both beauty and force.
Among the Choosers of the Slain. Several Eddic and skaldic sources include Þrúðr in lists of Valkyries. Like her half-brother Magni, who inherits strength from Þórr directly, Þrúðr seems to carry her father's might into Óðinn's service, selecting the warriors who will fight at Ragnarǫk.
A spelling that has to carry stories like these is not a label. It is equipment.
Where It Stood Before Us
Þrúðr is primarily a textual figure, but her name appears materially on the Karlevi runestone (Öl 1) on Öland, Sweden, c. 1000 CE. No image or temple can be securely identified with her. Her wider presence is in the Eddic manuscripts and the skaldic poetry that praised dead warriors as her servants. The bench inherits all of it — the web temple is the newest site, not the first.

What We Set Down
Þrúðr — Tier-1 is not a compliment; it is a measurement. This restoration keeps something the ASCII form provably loses, and the measurement is repeatable.
For the voice: 'THROOTH-r' — the first syllable is long and stressed, with the 'th' of 'thin' and a long 'oo' sound; the final 'r' is lightly pronounced.
The temple stands at /thrudr/ — the notes above are public in its Scholarly Edition, sources and all.
