Spoken, the name runs `/ko.to.ɕi.ɾo.nɯ.ɕi/` — 'KOH-toh-shee-roh-noo-shee' — the 'r' is a light tap, and the final vowels are soft.

Where the Name Stood First
Kotoshironushi is associated with the Miwa area and with shrines honoring Ōkuninushi's lineage. His identification with Ebisu means his material traces are embedded in the broader cult of the Seven Gods of Fortune.
