How VohuManah was rebuilt, mark by mark

What We Found
The attestation runs through the tradition's own sources: 𐬬𐬊𐬵𐬎 𐬨𐬀𐬥𐬀𐬵. Meaning: "Good thought".
The figure behind the name: Vohu Manah's mythology runs through the Gāthās' deepest scenes: the complaint of the bull, the choice of the two spirits, the vision on the river Dāitya, and the dark roster of demons set against each Immortal.
What the Name Carried In
The Soul of the Bull. The Gāthās' strangest litigant is cattle. 'The soul of the bull came to you, O Wise One, lamenting' — the lament asks for whom the herds were shaped and who will protect them from violence and ill care (Yasna 29.
The Two Minds. 'Now the two spirits, in the beginning the twins, renowned to be in conflict' (Yasna 30. 3).
A spelling that has to carry stories like these is not a label. It is equipment.
Where It Stood Before Us
An abstract Immortal leaves few images: Vohu Manah's 'archaeology' is calendrical and liturgical rather than sculptural. The Sasanian and later Zoroastrian calendars preserve his dedications — the month Bahman and the second day of every month — in colophons, ephemerides, and festival lists transmitted from Iran to India. Avestan manuscripts carrying the twenty-ninth Yasna and the invocation lists of Yasna 1 document his cult in continuous use, and the modern celebration of Bahmanagān in Iran and the diaspora is the dedication's living form. The bench inherits all of it — the web temple is the newest site, not the first.
What We Rejected
The plain ASCII vohumanah — admissible as a fallback, never as the primary. A wrong accent would have been worse: the rulebook is explicit that a misplaced mark is worse than none.
What We Set Down
VohuManah — The restoration keeps one feature the ASCII form drops. One is enough to matter, and the label says so plainly: Tier-2.
For the voice: voh-HOO MAH-nah — stress on the second word; the final h is a breath, barely heard.
The temple stands at /vohumanah/ — the notes above are public in its Scholarly Edition, sources and all.
