Claim: Trigram divination behind the I Ching’s guidance economy. Exhibit: Trigrams from the River — Tradition says that the culture hero Fuxi observed the patterns on a dragon-horse that emerged from the Yellow River — the Hétú — and derived the eight trigrams.
Verdict: holds under load. The correspondence is functional, not decorative.
Seat 2: AI, Data & Predictive Intelligence
Claim: Eight trigrams encoding states of change; an ancient binary decision system. Exhibit: King Wen and the Sixty-Four Hexagrams — King Wen of Zhou, imprisoned by the Shang king, stacked the eight trigrams into sixty-four hexagrams and composed the hexagram statements.
Verdict: stands. Strip both to their function and the functions match.
Seat 3: Architecture & Spatial Design
Claim: The eight trigrams underpin feng shui spatial analysis. Exhibit: The Sage Who Invented the Yijing — The Xici appendix claims that in antiquity the sages invented knotted cords, writing, agriculture, and the Yijing in response to human need.

Seat 4: Philosophy, Ethics & Standards
