Stress-testing Freyr: do the industry seats hold?
Audit notes, Freyr: we took every seat the atlas claims for this temple and tried to break it against the myths. What survived is below.

The Test
Seat 1: Agriculture, Food & Harvest
Claim: The lord of harvest and peace — ár ok frið; rain and sunshine and the fruit of the earth are his to give. Exhibit: The Lord (from frawjaz) of Harvest and Peace* — Snorri's portrait is the tradition's fixed formula: Freyr is the most glorious of the Æsir, son of Njǫrðr, and 'he rules over rain and sunshine, and therewith the fruit of the earth; it is good to call on him for harvest and peace — ár ok frið.
Verdict: holds under load. The correspondence is functional, not decorative.
Seat 2: Gems, Jewelry & Luxury Materials
Claim: Owner of Skíðblaðnir and Gullinbursti, the dwarf-forged wonders — the ship that folds into a pocket, the golden-bristled boar. Exhibit: The Price of Gerðr — Freyr had seated himself in Hliðskjálf, Óðinn's high seat that overlooks all worlds, and looked north into Jǫtunheimr — and saw a maiden walking from her father's hall to her bower, whose white arms lit the sky and the sea.
Verdict: holds under load. The correspondence is functional, not decorative.
Seat 3: Wine, Brewing & Hospitality
Claim: The Uppsala feasts of the peace-years — Fróði-peace and plenty are remembered as his reign. Exhibit: The Gifts of the Dwarfs — Two of the six treasures of the gods belong to Freyr.
Verdict: survives scrutiny. The myth and the trade do the same work.
The Control Group
Against the seats that survived, one control: the temple's own summary of its figure — Freyr's myths turn on a single economy: what the lord of plenty gives away. The seats do not drift far from it. That is the audit's cleanest result.
The Method, Stated Plainly
None of this is numerology. A seat exists only where the match can be argued from the deity’s documented domains and deeds — weighted, published, and falsifiable.
