Strip Thēseus to theseus and one piece of evidence vanishes:
- e → ē — Eta: long epsilon: the vowel length the ASCII form cannot show.

Spoken, the name runs `/theseus/` — 'THESEUS' — pronounce the restored form with attention to the preserved diacritics and length.
