Stress-testing Nanna: do the industry seats hold?
Audit notes, Nanna: we took every seat the atlas claims for this temple and tried to break it against the myths. What survived is below.

The Test
Seat 1: Love, Dating & Relationships
Claim: Wife of Baldr — she dies of grief on his pyre; devotion proven at the fire. Exhibit: The Wife of Baldr — Snorri names her in the catalogue of the Æsir's houses with genealogical economy: Baldr's wife is Nanna, daughter of Nepr, and their son is Forseti.
Verdict: survives scrutiny. The myth and the trade do the same work.
Seat 2: Funerary & Memorial Services
Claim: Her grief is laid beside him on Hringhorni — the death within the gods' funeral. Exhibit: The Heart That Burst — When Baldr fell to the mistletoe and the Æsir could neither weep nor take vengeance in the sanctuary, they bore him to the sea and brought out Hringhorni, his ship, the greatest of all ships.
Verdict: stands. Strip both to their function and the functions match.
Seat 3: Faith & Spiritual Organizations
Claim: She greets Hermóðr in Hel with gifts for the living — the ring for Fulla, the linen for Frigg. Exhibit: The Gifts from Hel — Hermóðr the Bold rides nine nights through dark valleys to ransom Baldr, and in Hel's hall he finds his brother in the high seat — and Nanna is there, keeping her place beside him in death as in life.
Verdict: survives scrutiny. The myth and the trade do the same work.
The Control Group
Against the seats that survived, one control: the temple's own summary of its figure — Nanna's dossier is among the shortest in the Edda and among the most devastating: she is named, married, widowed, dead of grief, and found again in Hel — in scarcely more lines than that. The seats do not drift far from it. That is the audit's cleanest result.
The Method, Stated Plainly
None of this is numerology. A seat exists only where the match can be argued from the deity’s documented domains and deeds — weighted, published, and falsifiable.
