How Hē was rebuilt, mark by mark

What We Found
The attestation, in the attestation LSJ and Beekes, Etymological Dictionary of Greek give us: ἡ. Meaning: "Feminine nominative singular article in Ancient Greek; in Orphic and Neoplatonic thought, the receptacle of divine overflow and counterpart to τὸ ἕν (Hén).".
The figure behind the name: Hē has no myth in the traditional sense.
What the Name Carried In
The Receptacle. Plato calls the principle of matter the hupodochē, the 'receptacle' of all becoming. It receives forms the way a mother receives seed.
Hē and Hén. In Neoplatonic and theurgical texts, the masculine τὸ ἕν (Hén, the One) is paired with ἡ (Hē), the feminine principle of procession and manifestation. The dyad generates the multiplicity of the cosmos from the simplicity of the One.
A spelling that has to carry stories like these is not a label. It is equipment.
Where It Stood Before Us
There is no archaeological evidence for a cult of 'Hē' as a personified goddess; the entry is a philosophical and linguistic construction. The material context is textual: manuscripts of Plato, Plotinus, and Proclus, where the article ἡ is interpreted metaphysically. The PUNICODEX temple thus preserves an idea rather than a site. The bench inherits all of it — the web temple is the newest site, not the first.

What We Rejected
he as the primary form. It survives as the convenience it is; it does not get to lead. The hierarchy is full restoration first, and this name can afford to stand at the top of it.
