Greek Δῆλος scans with a long eta — Dêlos with the circumflex marks the stressed long vowel of the nominative exactly as ancient grammarians wrote it. The macron-only form Dēlos is the standard academic fallback (LSJ convention); both are defensible, and the circumflex form is the owned primary. Modern Greek says Dhilos with a fricative; the ancient quantity, not the modern sound, is what the restoration records.
